The Large gates of Iter Sanctus reach to incredble heights. The front of the gates are smooth and slippery, making them impossible to climb. Thick metal makes up the gate and nothing can breach them. Most of the time they remain open as they take much longer to open then to close, with Hospitaller guards watching for any suspicious activity.
